I’m testing the windows live writer application as a tool to use while writing my posts. I’ve found that writing the content offline is helpful as I write, formulate thoughts, review, and re-write.

The amount of tools that are available to facilitate communication and that interact with social media tools is amazing. It’s as easy as possible for anyone to find an easy way to create content and put it online. It’s all good.

Live writer has a simple interface with some of the familiar editing tools and buttons to that of word. It keeps to the basics allowing one to write and edit quickly. There are useful and relatively easy to uses features for editing the look and feel and inserting content directly into the post.

There are three ways to save content, save local draft, post draft to weblog or post to weblog and edit online. So you can easily write posts and work offline and take online with little effort. The system can also manage multiple blogs which is nice for folks who are running several blogs.

At first glance this seems to be a nice application that I will be able to quickly and easily use to manage content on my blog.
